Unbiased Rating System
The Ben Scale
Our objective 4-point system uses simple yes/no questions to eliminate bias and provide clear, consistent bar ratings focused on practical comfort.
Hooks for Bags
- Are there hooks under the bar to hang bags, coats, or personal items? A simple yes/no with no room for subjective interpretation - either hooks exist or they don't.
Spill Prevention
- Is there something to prevent the spill of liquids onto customers? An objective assessment - either spill prevention exists or it doesn't, eliminating opinion-based ratings.
Footrest
- Is there a place to put your feet so they're not dangling? This binary question removes ambiguity - a footrest is either present or absent, with no subjective rating scale.
Backrest
- Do the seats have a backrest? Another clear yes/no criteria that can be objectively verified without personal bias or opinion influencing the score.
